Clare Lynch is Doris and Bertie’s chief business writing expert. As a trainer and writing coach, she has been described as inspiring, engaging and entertaining.

In the 1990s she worked at the Financial Times and has since helped a wide range of financial services firms communicate better with their clients, customers and employees.

Clare has a PhD from the University of Cambridge and teaches writing skills at the University’s Language Centre. She has designed and taught modules on business English for the University’s business school, the Judge Institute.

David Pollack originally trained as a graphic designer, and has over 15 years’ experience in the direct marketing industry.

After founding Doris and Bertie, David discovered a talent for writing, which he developed by studying journalism at the University of London.

He has written copy for a variety of clients, including global banks and engineering firms. He also contributes interviews and reviews to magazines such as the Brompton Quarterly and King’s Parade, the magazine for alumni of King’s College, Cambridge.

He is about to embark on a part-time BA in Classics at Birkbeck College, London.
