If Private Eye used the phrase &quot;no comment was forthcoming&quot; you&#039;d know they were directing an ironic barb at the person who refused to speak. As it is, I think the phrase they use whenever they&#039;ve tried unsuccessfully to extract a comment from some nefarious individual or organisation is: &quot;Answer came there none&quot;. Brilliant!</description>
